From 23rd to 25th of April in our school, "Schola medica 2018" was held, a national competition from the profession of nurse / medical nursing technician and dental technician. The competition was attended by 18 students from 12 medical schools. Participants of the competition in the corridor of the school welcomed the welcome poster, fifth grade students and teacher Ljiljana Grginović. The inauguration of the competition on April 24 started with a welcome speech by the Director of the School, Professor Davor Vidaković, after which the participants welcomed numerous and distinguished guests - the mayor of the city of Zadar and former school student Dr Branko Dukić, president of the Croatian Health Care Association and Director of Medical School Sister Mlinarska, Dr. Asja Jelaković, Senior Advisor at the Agency for Vocational Education and Adult Education, Dalibor Sumpor and Chief Sister of the Zadar General Hospital, Darija Katuša. The competition was declared openly by the head of the Administrative Department for Education, Culture and Sports, Ivan Šimunić. Winners of the competition were presented by the Presidents of the Commission, Verica Elves and Josip Brusić. Welcome gifts are also delivered to mentors of students, employees and external associates of the NCVVO, ie a working group for the preparation of national health care examinations. The students of our school were presented at the opening ceremony by six performances - an anthem, recitation of the song "Drenched City", a promotional film about Zadar and School led by mentor Ljiljana Grginović, a pupil of the 5th grade and musical performance of the school band Kuzma, with the play "Constipation Not Bauk" conducted under the guidance of mentor Ljiljana Grginović by students of 3rd grade and by the recitation of the song "Kužina" from her own collection of songs "Come on Coffee" conducted by 5th grade pupil, young poet Samantha Pedišić.
