At this year's 18th Festival of Science, whose main theme is the culture of science, our GLOBE group also participated through the theme "Culture in
FINE OF SCIENCE ”. A workshop in the field of biometrics was held in Vruljica Park together with students and a mentor of the Economic and Bureaucratic and
trade schools. With the help of activity leaders Marijana Škunca-Vrkić and Marina Sambolek, the students determined the canopy cover, tree height, breast diameter and cover analysis according to GLOBE protocols. We compared the data for the measured height of selected trees with the help of a clinometer with the results obtained through the GLOBE Observer mobile application.
