On Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the Ante Kuzmanić Medical School in Zadar, a training was held for lecturers in health care and related subjects on the use of new equipment in school practicums for health care. The school is equipped with four new sick beds and four Susie dolls. Susie doll from the American leader in simulation equipment - Gaumard Scientific is used in the practice and learning of health care procedures. The doll simulates a real patient and with a realistic performance allows you to perform basic procedures of washing, changing, catheterization, giving intramuscular injections, stoma care. It enables the practice of procedures that are feasible in practice and thus enables students to be ready and safer to face the right patient.
